Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Krunch 9.0 Junior best suited to?

It is suited to junior and youth hard-ball players wanting a balanced English Willow bat for school, club, academy and match cricket.

Which size should I choose?

Use the player-height guide first. If the bat feels difficult to lift or control through a full swing, choose the smaller size.

Does it need knocking-in?

Check the bat on arrival and complete any required oiling, knocking-in and protective preparation before match use.

Will the exact grains and pickup vary?

Yes. English Willow is a natural material, so grain pattern, shade, weight and pickup vary between individual bats.

Care and common questions

How should I care for this product?

Follow the bat manufacturer’s oiling, knocking-in and storage instructions. Introduce natural-willow bats gradually to hard-ball use; a workshop service does not guarantee immediate match readiness. Avoid excessive oil, damp storage and direct heat. Check face, edges and toe after play.

How do I choose the right size?

Choose pickup, not just appearance.
