The details that matter.
Cricket Bat Weight Reduction Service
Professional workshop weight reduction for players who want an existing bat made lighter where the bat's profile and construction allow.
Price: $79.99
We assess the bat before removing material and only reduce weight where it can reasonably be done without unnecessarily compromising the bat's structure or playing area.
The amount of weight that can safely be removed varies from bat to bat. A specific final weight cannot be guaranteed.
If you have a target weight or pickup in mind, please include it with your order. For substantial reductions, send photos to info@nzcricketstore.com before sending the bat.
For balance-focused adjustment rather than overall weight reduction, choose the Cricket Bat Rebalance Service.

Care and common questions
How should I care for this product?
Follow the bat manufacturer’s oiling, knocking-in and storage instructions. Introduce natural-willow bats gradually to hard-ball use; a workshop service does not guarantee immediate match readiness. Avoid excessive oil, damp storage and direct heat. Check face, edges and toe after play.
How do I choose the right size?
