Frequently asked questions
Is this English willow or Kashmir willow?
This is the English willow Heritage 500i model.
Is the face bare, natural willow?
No. The manufacturer's specification identifies a grain-tape face. The back has a willow-coloured painted finish.
What size is available?
This listing has one size: adult Short Handle (SH). Junior sizes are not included. Contact us before ordering for help with sizing.
Can I choose the exact weight or see the actual bat?
Ask NZ Cricket Store before ordering. We can request current-stock details and photos; a particular weight or appearance is not guaranteed until confirmed.
Are these photos of the individual bat I will receive?
No. They are manufacturer model photographs. Grip colour, graphic details and natural timber appearance can vary between production batches.
Does it need knocking in?
Follow the maker's preparation guidance and arrange any additional preparation before use. It should not be assumed to be match-ready. Do not oil a covered face without appropriate guidance.
Is a cover included?
Yes, a padded full-length bat cover is included.
When will it arrive?
Use the fulfilment and delivery estimates displayed on this product page. Additional bat-preparation services can extend the dispatch time.
